WRITING GUIDELINES

Are you a freelance writer or spiritual abuse survivor interested in getting your story media attention? We'd love to read your story or pitch for a special series, investigative report, opinion piece or interesting interview. Our readers are savvy about cults and religious fundamentalism issues and are interested in a full spectrum of womens and feminist issues.

Before submitting, please familiarize yourself with the kind of stories we post. If you have questions, please email our editor (mycultlife@gmail.com).

We are unfortunately unable to pay for any stories at this time.

My Cult Life is comprised of very few staff members, so we are not always able to put a lot of time into editing submissions. If you'd like us to consider an article for posting, please send us the piece in final draft form.

We will publish stories that have been posted elsewhere with a note of permission and credit to the original publisher or site at the top of the post (if you do not own the rights to the story).
